On 21st October, producer Manish Mishra, along with his team, co-producer Anup Thapa, and his partner Shiv Yadav and PR Dinesh Yadav, visited Shankaracharya Pragyanand Saraswati Ji to seek blessings for their film Banda Singh Chaudhary.
Manish Mishra expressed his confidence in the love the film is receiving and believes it will perform well at the box office. He emphasized that although two big films, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, both mass entertainers, are releasing on 1st November during Diwali, the strong subject matter of Banda Singh Chaudhary will attract audiences through word-of-mouth.
Swami Pragyanand Saraswati Ji greatly appreciated the film’s message, which emphasizes Hindu-Sikh unity. He noted that Hinduism and Sikhism are two branches of Sanatan Dharma and that some foreign groups are trying to create divisions between Hindus and Sikhs. In this context, he praised the film for spreading a positive message and urged all Hindus and Sikhs to watch it.
Manish Mishra added that with Swamiji’s blessings, he is confident the film will not only be well-received by the public but will also become a symbol of Hindu-Sikh unity. He also shared that the cast and crew visited Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi, and a separate screening for the Gurdwara is being planned.
Co-producer Anup Thapa expressed his gratitude for being a part of the film and stated that audiences will surely appreciate the film’s story and songs. Banda Singh Chaudhary is set to release in theaters on 25th October.
