On August 23 (Wednesday), India scripted history as Chandrayaan-3 landed on the south pole of the Moon at 6.04 pm. While Chandrayaan-3 became a successful moon mission, the high-budgeted ‘Adipurush‘, on the other hand, became a huge failure at the box office.
India created history after Chandrayaan 3 successfully made a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon on August 23. Amid all the celebration, a Bollywood film has been brutally trolled on social media. Yes, we are talking about Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’. Now, a post of a Reddit user is grabbing attention showing a picture saying ‘With 600 crores’, ‘What movies did’ on one side with Adipurush’s poster and on the other side ‘What scientists did’ with Chandrayaan 3’s picture. Reacting to the post, one user wrote, ‘Jani dushman has better or on par vfx as compared to Adipurush‘, another one commented, ‘Adipurush ke 600cr , isro scientists ko de Dena chahiye tha’. One even wrote, ‘Akshay Kumar just got his next film topic.. Chandrayaan 3’.
Another one wrote, ‘Itne paise jo iss tatti movie par barbad kar diye, agar research funding me laga dete to na jane kitne Bsc Msc aur Phd walon ko job mil jati.’ As per reports, Om Raut’s Adipurush was made on a reported budget of Rs 600 crores and the budget for Chandrayaan-3 was reportedly Rs 615 crores. Adipurush received massive backlash for its bad VFX, poorly written dialogues and distorting the Hindu epic Ramayan and its characters in the film.
