Mumbai: Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao and Junaid Khan attend book launch event

Aamir Khan, along with his former wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, made an appearance at a book launch event held in Mumbai. A snippet shared by a paparazzo on Instagram captured the trio individually posing for photographs. Another video depicted Reena and Kiran Rao sharing a light moment while standing together inside the bookstore. In response to a question from a paparazzo, Kiran laughed, and Reena joined in.
When prompted to pose together, Kiran responded, It’s quite far.. his speech is ongoing. It doesn’t feel appropriate, does it? Let him finish. As Kiran articulated her response, Reena smiled and directed her gaze toward her. Aamir’s son, Junaid Khan, was also present at the book launch event. A paparazzo’s Instagram post showcased Junaid posing alongside Aamir outside the store. Junaid donned a blue shirt, olive green trousers, and shoes. The video portrayed Junaid with his arm around Aamir, who held his son. Junaid was also seen in a picture with his mother, Reena.
Aamir tied the knot with Reena Dutta on April 18, 1986, and they share two children, Junaid and Ira. They parted ways in 2002. Subsequently, on December 28, 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao. Their son, Azad Rao Khan, was born via surrogacy on December 5, 2011. In July 2021, Aamir and Kiran announced their separation, with a commitment to co-parent their son Azad.
In a 2012 interview with the media, Aamir spoke about his initial marriage, stating, Reena and he were married for 16 years. They grew up together as both of them were very young when they got married. Their separation was tough on both of them. It was a special relationship and is still very close to Aamir’s heart. He was alone for three to four years, and then Aamir met Kiran (Rao). He didn’t even work for almost two years as he was coping with it. Aamir is a very emotional man at heart.
