Dream Girl 2 box office:The Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday film collected almost ₹60 crore in six days of its release.
Following its impressive opening, Dream Girl 2 continues to maintain a strong momentum at the box office. Leveraging the Raksha Bandhan holiday on August 30, the film exhibited a modest surge in its box office earnings. As reported by industry tracker Sacnilk, Dream Girl 2 amassed Rs 7.75 crore on its sixth day of release, thereby achieving a cumulative collection of Rs 59.75 crore in India.
Commencing its box office journey with a robust Rs 10.69 crore on Friday, August 25, the film graduated to Rs 14 crore and Rs 16 crore on Saturday and Sunday Subsequently, there was a slight deceleration on Monday and Tuesday, with collections hovering just under Rs 6 crore on both days. However, the film made a comeback, capitalising on the Raksha Bandhan holiday and raked in Rs 7.75 crore on Wednesday.
Despite the competition from Sunny Deol’s massively successful Gadar 2, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 has managed to firmly establish its position. Even as Gadar 2 maintains its momentum into its third week, clocking Rs 8.75 crore on its third Wednesday, and amassing a total of Rs 474.5 crore till date.
